Job Description:

Inventory Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of order life cycle, inbound/outbound shipments and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction.

As an Inventory Manager, customer satisfaction is a priority while enhancing value in day-to-day operations. Additionally, Inventory Manager is well-versed in supply management principles, warehousing operations and best practices. Responding immediately to internal/external customer questions and complaints and notifying them of any order discrepancies, inventory changes, pricing and/or delays, is essential to this position. This position is responsible for heavy inventory control management with the supporting analytical skill set to effectively translate inventory data to actionable events. In addition, this position will require a strong influence in risk mitigation of adverse inventory environments.

Primary Duties:
• Custodian of end-to-end order life cycle. Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments/orders to 3PLs, international distributors, Amazon® Domestic, and Amazon ® International distribution channels.
• Responsible for coordinating with customer's transportation providers, freight forwarders, and related vested parties to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments to respective parties. Coordinating with internal freight carriers and company manufacturers.
• Responsible responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
• Owner of reviewing customer orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Owner of developing and maintaining inventory records for all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary to support customer expectations and mitigate risk to company service level expectations
• Responsible for tracking and mitigating shipping errors during the order life cycle
• Plan and tracking the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Owner of filing and data Entry (Internal systems and external systems)
• i.e., Traces (EU tracking systems) Shipper's letter of intent (SLI)
• Responsible for regulatory/compliance documenting and filing
• QuickBooks® Entries (coordinate with AR team)
• Audit of Amazon & Shipmonk/3PL invoices to ensure consistency with agreed upon contact terms
• Monthly inventory reconciliation by channel
• Responsible for internal logistics coordination of global sample shipments
• Heavy order building (order configuration) and coordination with day-to-day. Time sensitive and detail-oriented process daily.

Primary Inventory control responsibilities
• Heavy analytics in Inventory control (product movement, service levels, stock outs, promotions)
• Cross-functional departmental support with Inventory control functions and logistics functions
• Support senior leadership with Inventory reporting, analysis, and perspective
• Execute monthly inventory close out to include summary reporting and roll forward analysis
• Support accurate cycle count of inventory locations (All locations)
• Research and resolve inventory variances at all locations with the support of operations management
• Verify inventory log to confirm compliance of FIFO principles
• Audit and correct inbound receiving paperwork and perform audits of SOP's as required by management
• Respond to supporting departments and customers' requests for item checks in the warehouse or supporting locations
• Coordinate the handling of obsolete and at-risk inventory (vendor returns, donations, recalls) to include identifying, communicating, adjusting, and validating product
• Monitor activity to ensure work conducted effectively, resolve issues as necessary
• Review processes to ensure correct execution of product
• Storage reconciliation (I.E., 3PL and Distribution Channels)

Secondary Duties:
• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that goods are delivered on time and are of high quality
• Manage orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Owner of maintaining logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders
• Work closely with Warehouse Director (onsite)
• Prepare accurate invoices
• Coordinating with customs brokers or agents to obtain necessary documentation for international shipments

Qualifications for International/Domestic Logistics Specialist

A Bachelor's degree is preferred however, a high school diploma with 5+ years' experience in customer service or logistics management a must. Successful International/Domestic Logistics Specialist s possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and are able to work with little supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial or Mechanical engineering or related field
• 5+ years' experience in logistics management, including 3-5 years of manufacturing inventory control procedures
• Demonstrated experience in process design and control
• Knowledge and Application of Amazon Reports and data analytics
• Knowledge of Amazon Inventory flow and reporting
• Knowledge of Amazon of inventory disposition
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
• Previous customer service experience
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Keen on working in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced analytic and excel skills
• Strong change management skills
• Superior in MS office suite
