Our client seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead their underground wet utility projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing complex wet utility projects, specifically involving large diameter pipe and utility installations at depths of 15+ feet. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a thorough understanding of the utility construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of underground wet utility projects, from planning through execution and close-out.
Oversee large diameter pipe installations and deep utility trenches (15+ feet).
Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and schedule expectations.
Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring efficient use of labor and materials.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
Prepare progress reports and deliver updates to senior leadership and clients.
Troubleshoot and resolve any project-related issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in underground wet utility construction.
Proven experience with large diameter pipe installations and working on utility projects 15+ feet deep.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, scheduling, and budgeting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
