Project Planning & Execution: Develop and execute detailed project plans for logistics and transportation projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout project lifecycles.
Coordination with Operations & Support Teams: Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure seamless project execution and resolution of any logistical challenges.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify potential project issues and develop solutions to address them in a timely manner. Implement lessons learned and best practices to continuously improve project execution and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in the logistics industry, preferably within project logistics or heavy lift sectors. Proven track record of successfully managing logistics projects from inception to completion.
Project Management Skills: Strong expertise in project planning, execution, and risk management. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of project logistics and transportation challenges, particularly in complex sectors such as oil & gas or renewable energy. Familiarity with key industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
