We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Coordinator/HR to join our team at Sandstone. The Financial Coordinator/HR will play a key role in managing financial operations, including billing, collections, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for services rendered.
Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring outstanding balances and coordinating collections efforts.
Complete onboarding/orientation for new hires.
Complete Bi-weekly payroll.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Coordinate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to resolve billing issues and ensure timely reimbursement.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to healthcare finance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Address resident and family financial inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Support the facility administrator with financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare finance or a similar role.
Strong understanding of billing and collections processes in a healthcare setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with financial software.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
