Job Description:

EML is seeking a Project Manager/Chief Engineer for our new awarded contract in Seattle, WA. The Project Manager, will have complete autonomous authority to manage day-today contract performance. They will be responsible for administrative management and serve as official liaison to the CO/COR on all top level contract negotiations, including signature and operational authority. They will report to our corporate operations manager and will be responsible for the successful fulfillment of this contract as well as the overall satisfaction of all tenants and/or occupants at FCS/PA.

They will be present Monday through Friday or, as directed by EML and on-call outside of normal hours of operation. Their primary location will be at Building 1201 at FCS. They will have spending authority to support all GSA goals and ensure tenant satisfaction. They will always have the authority to act accordingly and respond to all emergency situations.

They will have the authority to purchase parts, materials and supplies, and procure any subcontractor or vendor in order to perform all contract requirements. They will formally negotiate with the government on all issues relevant to this contract. They will be the primary contact for government personnel at the contract level. They will have authority to plan and direct all work, maintain budget control, establish on-site policies and procedures, modify the organization to include personnel and other resources to exceed contract expectations and provide overall guidance in the performance of all contract tasks. They will possess vast experience in the operations and maintenance and repair of the building assets consisting of life-safety, BAS, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems.

They are an integral part of EML's Quality Control program by inspecting work performed by their subordinates. They instill accountability for each member of the operations and maintenance and custodial crew. They will all ensure that all on-site personnel receive any necessary training and certifications for the effective, efficient operation of each facility.

*** Chief Engineer experience is a huge plus since they will be overseeing HVAC mechanics, BAS and building operations.
• Minimum of five years experience within the last seven in facilities that requires similar operation, maintenance and repair requirements
• Minimum of 5 years experience within the last seven in a project management/supervisory role
• Will possess N.A.T.E, HVAC Excellence or UA Star Mastery Certification and EPA 608 Type 2 Certification or greater
