What You Will Do
As a Product Line Manager, you will demonstrate organizational skills in a faced-paced environment. A successful candidate will be able work cross-organizationally to develop and release products as well as maintain solutions that have already been released. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between innovative concepts and market-ready products, ensuring that viaPhoton continues to disrupt the fiber optic industry.
Oversee new product development from concept to production, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
Create new part numbers and schemes for new product families, streamlining the process for efficiency and accuracy.
Manage the part number database, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring easy access for relevant teams.
Create new products and bills of materials in the ERP system, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure completeness and correctness.
Assist in creating marketing materials, such as spec sheets and portfolio brochures, to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
Support sales and customer success managers by cross-referencing competitors' solutions to viaPhoton solutions, providing a competitive edge in the market.
Performs additional duties as requested.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience in technical support or customer facing role is a requirement
Creative problem solving; if you don't know the answer, then you need to know how to find a way to it.
Ability to learn quickly and continuously and maintain a flexible and adaptive mindset necessary for a fast-paced environment.
Multi-tasking with the ability to handle multiple inquiries at once and prioritize them accordingly.
Clear and efficient communication; able to summarize technical concepts to less technically inclined people and provide succinct instructions to resolve issues.
Strong and effective analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to produce meaningful analyses, insights, and recommendations.
