Position Summary:
The Product Manager's role is to define, develop, and drive the commercial strategy for their assigned product categories. This is a central role that works cross-functionally with all global teams within the company. The main goals of Product Management are to drive high revenue growth of existing products and launch exciting new products that accelerate scientific discoveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing several product categories within the Proteintech portfolio.
Creating and executing a strategic plan for your assigned product categories that promotes brand awareness and high revenue growth.
Working cross-functionally with global teams in R&D, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Distribution.
Oversee the entire product life-cycle, from idea to market launch. Grow existing product lines and manage monthly addition of new products.
Educate both internal teams and external customers on your products via trainings, digital content, and webinars.
Develop or co-create content for emails, marketing pieces, brochures, flyers, blogs, articles, social media campaigns, and events.
Provide technical support to both customers and internal teams.
Act as a liaison between Proteintech scientists, other internal teams, and customers.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Preferred Education/Experience:
A PhD degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or related areas
At least 3 years work experience in a similar role, preferably in immunology / protein chemistry
Commercial experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, ideally experience with an ERP system
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with outstanding communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel internationally for meetings and conferences, as global conditions permit
