The Sec & Derivat Intmd Assoc Analyst is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and clients in coordination with the FDC listed derivatives Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of clients clearing listed derivatives transactions.
Responsibilities:
Utilize basic industry and business knowledge to conduct analyses of hedge funds and other counterparty activities.
Contribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to management
Support implementation of trade clearing processing improvements
Assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies that streamline related work processes
Review and analyze client activities, procedures to reconcile client trades versus exchange reconciliations
Develop and use knowledge of listed derivatives, FX and processing practices and standards
Provide informal guidance or on the job training to lower level/new listed derivatives client services team members when required
Qualifications:
2-5 years of relevant experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
