At CONMED, our Strategic Sourcing Team works throughout the supply chain to deliver exceptional results for global teams and operations, ultimately ensuring that our products are accessible to our health care customers around the world. We are seeking a driven supply chain or business management student with strong critical thinking and execution abilities to join the team for an internship during Summer 2025.
The Supply Chain Sourcing Intern responsibilities will include:
Aid in the development, management, and execution of a Supplier OEM Strategy aimed at ensuring continuity of supply and maximizing purchasing efficiency
Work to evaluate, mitigate, or resolve Supply Chain risk
Negotiate relevant contracts with category suppliers managing terms and conditions for pricing, service, and delivery
Develop a central location for supplier contracts within Power BI
Participate in process improvement projects for how CONMED manages contracts globally, working in collaboration with key business partners
Analyze current spend under contract and identify possible gaps for mitigation
Solve for on-going supply constraints and report supply status and challenges regularly
Work with international suppliers

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills
Keen attention to detail and timelines
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with medical device manufacturing or desire to learn about the industry
Position Requirements:
Pursuing completion of a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field
Must be available to work onsite in Largo, Florida, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025
