35-person Architecture and Engineering firm seeking a strong organizational leader as Office Manager for their Columbia MD headquarters. Candidate should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a passion for serving. Communication skills including welcoming and phone responsibilities as well as office wide written communication is imperative. Knowledge of the industry and local community is appreciated.
Responsibilities included:
8:30-5:30 in office
Vender and office interface, scheduling, and coordination
Security
Internet/phone
Copiers
Cleaning
Maintenance
HOA and neighboring tenants
Product vendors and library
Special Event planning
Vender lunches
Happy Hours
Holiday parties
Payroll and Invoicing - Back up support to firm accountant
New project set up
Lien releases
Special invoice assistance
Maintain and modify firm records
Business Licenses
Personal licenses
Service subscriptions
Maintain and modify Employee records and files
Personnel files
Phone lists
Employee PTO
Onboarding new employees (less than 5 a year)
1st day training

Administration of Employee Expense Sheets

?Back up for answering and directing incoming calls when receptionist is away

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

Must maintain and be able to communicate comprehensive company policies.
Must be task oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize critical items daily

Must be able to perform entry into databases
