Our client in High Point is hiring for a full time Regional Housing Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage the operations of the Public Housing/Section 8 programs. The position oversees functions, monitors fiscal and occupancy status of properties and HCV program, prepares reports of activities and fiscal status.
24/7 on-call duty is required.
This role completes:
Budget preparation and monitoring
Monitors operating practices and procedures and recommends changes to promote efficiency
May participate in pre-employment interviews, supervise, evaluate performance, and train staff
All activities must support the Agency's strategic goals and objectives and produce results that accomplish the goals and functions of the Public Housing Manager/ Section 8 programs.
Requirements:
Five (5) years of experience in property management and capital funds management
Knowledge of procurement practices and regulations
Supervisory experience
Certified training in HCVP Executive Management, HCVP Housing Quality Standards ("HQS") training and Property Management Certification obtained within first year of employment.
Possession of a North Carolina valid driver's license and the ability to be insurable under the Agency's automobile insurance plan at the standard rate.
Bachelors degree preferred
