A leading construction business is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience using Excel (the ability to write formulas). This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Job Duties:
Managing paperwork for projects, filing receipts in the accounting system, maintaining organized records
Using Microsoft excel to track various projects, handle accounts payable, and creating invoices for clients
Make calls to vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to collect invoices and follow up on lien waivers
Assist in closing out construction projects including final waivers and warranty information
Other various administrative duties
Qualifications:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (have the ability to write formulas and navigate the software)
Experience with accounts receivable is preferred but not required
Ability to work independently to accomplish goals
Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with business customers
Some knowledge of the construction industry is preferred but not required
