Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer and in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Center for Telehealth, this role provides leadership and oversight of UVA Center for Telehealth programs: • Provides program development and implementation coordination • Champions and analyzes telehealth program utilization, monitors the program?s internal and external customer service, quality, stakeholder relations, financial goals, and objectives • Coordinates the development, implementation, adoption, and revision of new or existing telehealth projects based on organizational strategy • Works collaboratively to accomplish goals in conjunction with various stakeholders throughout the organization and aligns with Health IT process and technical strategy • Promotes a collaborative, open and inclusive service relying on excellent change management skills to foster growth and collaboration
Collaborates with Health IT Digital Transformation team and other technical teams to create strategies for deployment and technology
Works cross-functionally to accelerate adoption and usefulness of telehealth programs ensuring greater efficiency and consistency in business processes
Lead, in collaboration with the Director of the Center for Telehealth and Health Information Technology teams, operational program support for new programs and projects aligned with the Center for Telehealth strategic plan, including those funded by extramural grants and philanthropy. Ensures smooth integration between the Center for Telehealth and Health IT for technical handoffs
Lead and facilitate multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups to develop, prioritize, and scale telehealth innovations and existing interventions that align with UVA Health?s Strategic plan including planning for programmatic expansion
Monitor telehealth program data to assess performance, identify trends and develop actionable insights to improve patient care and service delivery
Bring industry best practices and emerging telehealth trends to the organization?s strategy and planning functions
Work with UVA MC and UPG legal to ensure telemedicine partner facility contracts are in compliance with all institutional and regulatory requirements
Monitors and educates operation?s organizational compliance with all Joint Commission standards for telemedicine
Track legislative and other regulatory requirements to ensure full programmatic compliance
Vet policy recommendations with UVA Health Government Relations team and other relevant stakeholders
Collaborate with Health IT and program users in the development of telehealth training needs across the relevant disciplines.
Coordinate and monitor the development of long range plans and annual budgets for assigned programs or projects within the Center for Telehealth
Monitor programmatic and telehealth financial performance to ensure it meets budgeted revenue/expense ratios
Responsible for ongoing management of existing business processes and practices for the service line and other interdependent operating units

Position Compensation Range: $133,016.00 - $212,825.60 Annual
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor?s degree required. Master?s degree in healthcare-related field required. (Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business, etc.)
Experience: 10 years of experience required. Telehealth experience preferred or applicable planning and business development, practice management, health care operations, or similar experience. Licensure: None required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
