As our new Director of Public Sector Sales at Crayon US, you will be responsible for driving our sales efforts withinthe state, local, and higher education sectors. In this leadership role, you will be managing and setting goals for a team of client directors, ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies. While coaching your team, you will be aligning resources and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions tailored to the needs of government and educational institutions.
Other responsibilities:
Leading, coaching, and managing a team of SLED Client Directors to hit sales targets and grow market share in the public sector
Creating and implementing sales strategies that align with company goals and public sector opportunities
Building solid relationships with government and education leaders, procurement officers, and key decision-makers in the SLED market
Tracking team performance, giving feedback, and supporting professional growth
Preparing and presenting proposals, bids, and RFP responses that meet public sector needs
Your Competencies:
7+ years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a management role, ideally in the public sector or SLED market
In-depth knowledge of the state, local, and education sectors, including government procurement processes and regulations
Solid experience with Microsoft bids, as well as AWS experience
Valid driver's license is required
