Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager works directly with the Vice President of Quality & Regulatory Affairs (VPQRA) and NDN leadership as a multidisciplinary facilitator, advisor, and educator to the practices and departments within Nevada Donor Network (NDN) seeking to create an operationally efficient organization by advancing innovative initiatives, operational performance, and efficiencies. The Project Manager will champion, support, and collaborate with quality improvement initiatives, PDSA's, and apply use of Project Management and Lean principles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s):
  • Responsible for managing the work and function of NDN's Project Management Office (PMO) in a collaborative manner with all key stakeholders:
  • Initiates, plans, executes, controls, tracks and closes all projects; takes projects from original concept to final implementation ensuring all project deliverables are met and is completed within established timeframe and budget.
  • Defines project Statement of Work (SOW), develops project charter, defines project scope and objectives, performs budget analysis, and creates an inclusive project team in collaboration with the project sponsor.
  • Applies use of project prioritization to ensure appropriate resource allocation and efficiency. Performs risk assessments for each project.
  • Assist with delegating project tasks to members of the project team.
  • Communicates regularly with project stakeholders and solicits feedback, ensuring that the project team remains on task regarding project objectives and progress.

o Provide regular status update reports to NDN Leadership. Assist with developing periodic reports, as needed for the NDN Governing Board and the Foundation Board.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners; conduct and/or facilitate interactions amongst these partners in support of the work of the projects.
  • Supports the accomplishment of NDN's strategic plans that achieve high impact and significant improvements in organizational performance.
  • Build relationships with all NDN team members to help drive project and quality initiatives forward.
  • Assist with facilitating quality improvement initiatives including, but not limited to PDSA's.
  • Evaluates organizational metrics to stimulate initiation of quality improvement through PDSA or projects for improvement of performance and productivity.
  • Apply the use of LEAN principles to drive projects and performance improvement throughout all NDN. Contribute to and support efforts of instilling such principles and mindset in others to steer performance excellence.
  • Responsible for writing and reviewing procedures and other controlled documents, in accordance to the established document control system, ensuring alignment to processes and ongoing consistency of the PMO.
  • Participates and supports the NDN Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing quality systems and regulatory compliance is applied throughout NDN and within all project and aspects of the Project Manager role.
  • Act as a role model of the NDN Quality & Regulatory Affairs Department and all NDN by supporting, reinforcing and exhibiting behaviors consistent with the NDN core values;
  • Exhibits a high degree of initiative, judgement and discretion.
  • Perform other appropriate duties as necessary.

Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required, Master's preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of healthcare operations related experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient at an intermediate or advanced level in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.

Certificates & Licenses: LEAN Six Sigma preferred

Other Requirements: Dynamic individual with superior interpersonal, written, oral communication, and analytical skills.
