We have been retained to recruit a Vice President, a strategic thinker with a proven track record of working with Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals and family-owned businesses. Reporting to the CEO of the family office, the VP will not only serve as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team but also be instrumental in the success of a newly renovated resort property while overseeing essential internal corporate functions, including HR and IT.
The ideal candidate will be a resourceful business manager with at least 15 years of experience in family-owned businesses or family offices. Key qualifications include:
Expertise in project management, budgeting, and forecasting
Strong team leadership and consensus-building skills
Function as the family's handler, overseeing the resort's success
Exceptional client service and relationship management abilities
Proven ability to develop concepts into successful business operations
The role requires the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and respect for privacy when representing the family. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills are essential. The candidate should be detail-oriented, data-driven, methodical, patient, and capable of achieving goals through collaboration with business partners, even without direct authority. Notably, prior experience in a family office or family-owned business is a requirement for this role.
