We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SeniorProduct Manager responsible for the definition and full lifecycle of our cutting-edge 5G radio technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of 5G networks, own the feature roadmap, and work closely with Business Development (BizDev) and Sales teams to position the product for success in the market. This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to create white papers, deliver presentations, and work with external partners and internal stakeholders to drive product success. Virewirx (Formerly XCOM Labs) has entered into an agreement with Globalstar.
This will include the following:
Manage our 5G products through its full lifecycle and ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs as the product and features mature from a concept to widespread adoption
Passion for understanding customer problems through deep engagement that results in strong insights, detailed requirements, and clearly laid out value propositions.
Build a detailed understanding of the private network market (industrial WiFi, cellular small cells, cellular DAS, etc) including trends, competitive landscape, and market differentiation
Collect and synthesize information from customers, partners, competitors, and internal organizations such as engineering and business development teams as inputs to product concept development, feature set and product planning and prioritization
Collaborate with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into customer-centric product features
Maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to understand their needs and drive product adoption. Establish lead customer relationships and collaborate with BD and Sales to secure early POC and commercial deployment wins.
Work closely with the sales and business development teams to define various market segments and price points to ensure broad market appeal
Build and maintain a multi-year product roadmap and ensuring tight alignment with the engineering team to ensure strong and timely execution and product launch cadence
Define GTM initiatives for optimal strategic and competitive positioning Partner with marketing to develop white papers, case studies, and technical documentation to highlight the unique capabilities and benefits of the product.
Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences, delivering compelling presentations and product demos.
Serve as the face of the product to external stakeholders, including customers and partners.
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
10+ years of recent and direct product management experience in 5G or Wi-Fi private/enterprise wireless networks
Deep understanding of 5G private networks wireless marketplace. This includes economics, key players, and major industry trends.
Knowledge of licensed (4G/LTE, 5G, etc.) wireless protocols and technologies and/or mobile radio and network components. Knowledge of unlicensed technology such as Wi-Fi is a plus
Hands-on experience with 5G technology, including RAN (Radio Access Network) architecture
Proven ability to work effectively and build bridges across various organizations and to lead without authority
Experience in writing and publishing white papers and technical articles.
Ability to collect and synthesize information from domain experts, including external customers and internal experts
It's a bonus if you have:
Master's Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
15+ years of product management experience in cellular/5G systems
Ability to understand complex information from technical subject matter experts
Present complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated Learning Agility and Critical thinking in both technical and business domains
