Job Summary:
Our client, Helukabel, is looking for a full-time Purchasing Manager who is responsible, organized, and detail-focused. In this "newly created" role due to strong growth and expansion to local in-house manufacturing, you will be responsible for purchasing goods and services in accordance with company policies, managing inventory levels, and working with the ERP supply planning module to ensure efficient operations. Duties/Responsibilities:
Purchase goods and services following company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with managers to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Review and adjust safety stock levels based on supply planning and demand forecasts.
Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, and previous transaction history.
Negotiate volume discounts, cash transaction discounts, and other vendor agreements.
Ensure purchasing documents are accurate and include appropriate terms and conditions.
Maintain pricing histories and vendor records.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of purchasing procedures and policies.
Experience with ERP systems and supply planning functions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly preferred.
A minimum of five years of purchasing experience is required.
