Overview: Seeking an Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to lead a dynamic team in the design and manufacture of industrial products.
Must Haves / Mandatory:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
15+ years of engineering experience
Experience with a broad range of manufacturing processes
Leadership experience in managing engineering teams
Nice to Have / Preferred:
Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering
Certified Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt and Lean product development concepts experience
Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%
Qualifications:
Experience in engineering, particularly in the design & manufacture of industrial products
Proven leadership skills with the ability to attract and retain technical talent
Strong project management skills and experience with project management tools
Knowledge in developing and improving engineering systems and processes
Responsibilities:
Set project strategy and priorities, provide technical leadership, and mentor the engineering team to execute industry-focused projects.
Lead the design, feasibility evaluation, and launch of new products and processes, ensuring they meet customer needs and business viability.
Oversee testing lab operations, set testing standards, and collaborate globally to achieve project goals.
Provide technical support to improve existing products, develop metrics for product delivery, and research new product opportunities.
Manage rapid-prototyping activities, field testing, continuous improvement programs, and budget planning for research and development.
