Position Purpose:
The Senior Mission Assurance Manager reports to the Principal Product Line Mission Assurance Manager and works in concert with program management team members.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in Material Review Board and Failure Review Board activities as required.
Develops reliability analyses as needed to support program deliverables and analysis.
Active participation in design, production/test readiness, and other reviews and audits with the ability to make risk-informed decisions for Mission Success.
Provides leadership in the identification, mitigation, and communication of Mission Assurance status and Risks to Mission Success.
Experience in Design/Test Readiness/Manufacturing Readiness Reviews.
Understand and mitigate risks associated with radiation effects.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
10-15+ years experience in a related mission assurance or quality role. Preferred 5+ years in space mission assurance.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent discipline.
Experience in any of the following disciplines: Quality Assurance, System Safety Engineering, Environment/Safety/Health, Reliability, Parts Engineering, and Materials and Processes.
Knowledge of Quality Systems and Processes.
Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
