A Global RF / Microwave firm are growing their Applications Engineer team. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise in microwave theory to address customer challenges in measurement and characterization.
Responsibilities:
Deliver prompt technical support to customers.
Assess functionality and quality of MMC products through final validation processes.
Conduct product demonstrations, installations, and training sessions at both MMC and customer locations.
Assist the sales team in understanding customer needs related to device characterization to help propose comprehensive customer solutions.
Develop instrument drivers for customer equipment.
Provide expert advice on measurement science to both internal teams and external customers.
Advise Senior Management on industry trends and advancements in device characterization, staying informed about the latest developments in the field.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Electronic Engineering.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Strong understanding of microwave network theory, analog/digital communication theory, and solid-state device theory.
Knowledge of power amplifier design and experience with Load Pull measurements for noise or power.
Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and C/C++.
Familiarity with operating vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, and other modern test and measurement tools.
