Role description:

Arcadis is looking to hire a Program Manager - Net Zero to support the Technical Advisory team in our New York City office on the implementation of a Real Estate Net Zero roadmap.

As a Program Manager - Net Zero, you will lead a program delivery team within our Advisory Business Unit, working directly with a global key client on the implementation of its roadmap to transition their global real estate portfolio to Net Zero in the next five years.

Role accountabilities:

The Program Manager will be responsible for implementing decarbonization programs and Capital projects at a global scale, for the Corporate Real Estate portfolio of a Global Financial Institution.

The selected candidate will need to be able to communicate corporate and built environment net zero concepts, terminology, frameworks and implementation strategies and have direct experience implementing decarbonization programs and Capital projects at a global scale with measurable results. The role is based in NYC and requires the hired candidate to work at the clients office 3 days a week.

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Master's Degree in related field (Building sciences, Sustainability, Net Zero etc)
  • Relevant Project Management certification and a degree in building sciences and/or sustainability
  • At least 10 years relevant experience
  • Strong Project/programme management skills
  • Experience in Corporate Real Estate required
  • Experience in the Financial Institution sector preferred
  • Background in consulting or corporate sustainability preferred
  • Familiarity with corporate and built environment net zero concepts, terminology, frameworks and implementation strategies
  • Familiarity with sustainability programs and regulations, such as SBTi, CSRD, SEC climate disclosure rule

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
