Purpose of Job:



Researches, develops, and implements competitive pricing programs for various channels and product segments. Monitors the market and competitor strategies to ensure pricing is in line with market conditions. Plans, directs, and facilitates pricing strategy changes from inception through introduction into the marketplace. Reports to senior leadership on competitive intelligence and pricing strategies.



Job Components:

• Work cross functionally with internal and external partners to develop and implement pricing strategies


• Engages sales team to develop corrective actions and/or drive decision making through profitability/ROI tools providing solutions to shift spending to higher return activities.


• Analyze the aftermarket battery industry competitive landscape and deliver insights to senior leadership


• Build and maintain competitor data; prepare scheduled and ad-hoc pricing analysis


• Interpret analyses into clear insights and recommendations (i.e., 'tell the story' of the data and analysis)


• Leverage expertise in data transformation to develop robust models, complex analysis, and profitability assessments to drive effective pricing strategies


• Lead implementation and maintenance of pricing tools and systems


• Analyze portfolio statistics to identify pockets of risk or opportunity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, or other highly analytical fields


• 3+ years in business analyst or pricing analyst role


• Strong analytical skills -structured approach with ability to provide consultative recommendations


• Ability to extract from large databases and analyze conflicting or incomplete data to reach sound conclusions


• Ability to influence leaders in all levels of the organization


• Self-starter; able to deliver analysis and recommendations with limited oversight


• Proficient in MS products (Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook)


• Experience with SAP, Tableau, Alteryx/SQL, Python/R preferred

Scope Data:

• This role will report to the Senior Manager of Pricing Strategy & Execution in the Revenue Management function.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid in-office and 'work from home' environment. Expectation for 3 days per week in office (4th if the work requires). Limited to no travel.


• Collaborate with corporate finance team on price changes and financial impact
