We are hiring a Data Collector to join our team. The Data Collector is responsible for accurate entries of production and scrap pieces produced daily. This position requires expertise in Microsoft office and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:

· Review paperwork for completeness and accuracy.

· Organize paperwork by shift.

· Accurately record data in Excel

· When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job

· Initiates and participates in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing projects.

· Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

High School Graduation or equivalent


Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:

· Knowledge of different areas of data collection including production sheets

· Ability to learn new tasks

· Outgoing

· Organized and detail oriented

· Self-motivated

· Communication

· MS Office

· Ability to make charts and presentations

· Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Access a plus


Employees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessary.
