Job Summary:

The Business Analyst is responsible for providing diverse analytical and operational support to the Business Operations management team for a local utility company along with the job duties and responsibilities below.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Review and analyze performance information (product and processes) to create trends, spot weaknesses and make actionable recommendations for improvement.

· Facilitate discussions with the program team, product teams, and product owners to understand the root causes of performance issues. The Analyst will also measure the performance of the process to migrate new analytics products to production and the performance of the product enhancement process.

· Analyzing data several of Entergy's applications such as CCS, Maximo, Lamps, etc. to make corrections to lighting accounts.

· Reviewing billing for lighting and lamp programs to determine accuracy.

· Make recommendations to key stakeholders on how to improve billing process.

· Assist lighting team on migrating all billing and tracking to Maximo.

· Collaborate closely with the IT department to support performance reporting and

analysis.

· As requested by management, support all product operations processes.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

· Requires at least ten (10) years of directly related experience;

· Utility industry experience strongly required;

· Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);

· Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills;

· Experience in CCS, Maximo, and Lamps is preferred;

· Requires the ability to manage multiple projects and determine priorities;

· Must have a high degree of computer literacy.

Working Conditions:

· Work is conducted in an office environment (Private or Semi-Private Office) and requires occasional travel to off-site work locations

· Field duties require outdoor work in a plant or construction atmosphere

· Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel

· Working plant, construction, and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels

· Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection

· May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes

· May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift and carry 5 pounds

· Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively

· Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
