As the Federal Proposal coordinator, the individual is responsible for providing support to the Proposal Manager throughout the proposal lifecycle. In this role, the individual will need to have the ability to take direction and correctly interpret detailed written instructions.
Responsibilities
Supports the federal proposal lifecycle from start to finish
Reads and analyzes RFPs and other solicitation documents to identify proposal requirements
Prepares compliance matrices and ensure compliance throughout the proposal lifecycle
Creates proposal outlines according to RFP (Sections C, L, and M)
Formats proposal volumes in Microsoft Word
Participates in color team reviews of the proposal
Verifies and validate full proposal compliance against the compliance matrix
Performs other tasks as required by the OSC office as assigned
Required Qualifications/Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (English, Communications, or any Computer Science related field)
2+ years of related experience in Federal government contracting environments
Knowledge of Shipley proposal process
Ability and desire to progress into an independent Proposal Manager
Excellent written communication, coordination, and presentation skills
Advanced Microsoft Word 365 formatting skills and Suite Tools including TEAMS
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
