About the role:
A Senior Compensation Analyst position fulfills a vital role within TQL’s Human Resource Department by taking a lead role in the management of compensation and compensation-related projects, analysis, evaluation, presentation of analysis and implementation of compensation initiatives within TQL. The Senior Compensation Analyst reports directly to the Director of HRIS and Compensation.

What you’ll be doing:
Manage projects such as survey participation/analysis and compensation integration
Develop and document procedures to streamline processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and work with HR Managers to educate managers
Works with the Sr. HRIS and Compensation Manager on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, implementation of new programs, job descriptions, and salary grades
Support the Long-Term Incentive Program including working with the CFO and Finance Department on unit value, assessing award amounts, calculating distributions and facilitating any LTI award(s)
Assist HR Managers and other managers with compensation related issues
Consult with outside sources to evaluate internal positions and appropriate and competitive compensation
Demonstrate an ability and aptitude to read and analyze complex written material, apply subjective and objective standards of review to that material based upon thoughtful analysis and render an appropriate opinion on compensation and/or job duties/descriptions
Demonstrate an ability and aptitude to assess and analyze job duties and render a thoughtful opinion as to whether the job fits in an exempt or non-exempt classification
What you need:
4-6 years of experience in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field
HRIS experience with Workday is a plus
Well organized and confident to work independently but a strong team player
Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
Ability to work at all levels up to the Executive level
Strong problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
Strong MS office skills including Word and Excel are required
