Strategic Analysis is a detail-oriented and highly organized Conference Assistant to provide support on a part time basis in our Headquarters Office in Arlington, Virginia and other meeting and event locations. The successful candidate will manage a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to working well in a team environment the successful candidate will incorporate the following:

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensives administrative support to Conference Services Division and other divisions in our Headquarters office.
Handle incoming communications (phone calls, emails, mail), respond or direct as appropriate.

Prepare badges and meeting and event collateral.
Create and administer registration websites.
Assist with coordinating of event apps and social media.
Coordinate catering.
Provide on-site meeting support and associated duties.
Prepare and edit documents, reports and presentations as needed.
Maintain and organize files, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Coordinate and facilitate department meetings and other activities.
Order supplies, ship supplies, and maintain a clean and orderly office environment.
Perform data entry and updated records as necessary.
Provide support on special projects and initiatives as assigned by department head.
May require occasional lifting of office supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent field of knowledge.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong sense of initiative and sense of urgency required with reliable follow-through/execution skills.
