Job Description

For ATMP:

The Electronic Technician Maintenance II position supports the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract at Fort Cavazos, TX. This position primarily supports MSTC.

Electronic Technician Maintenance II Job Duties

• Performs routine tasks troubleshooting, replacing, and repairing military simulator components following detailed instructions.
• Applies advanced technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining and solving equipment malfunctions.
• Captures and records accurate and timely maintenance history ensuring that unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into the AWARE Management Information System (MIS).
• Will work with various MSTC OEM's for shipping and repair actions.
• Tracks and documents all MSTC Manikin devices on contract from Call Center notification, to return to site.
• Shares maintenance issues and general operations updates with senior technicians.
• May interface with Army customers working at installations; contact company, government and outside agencies to resolve non-standard maintenance issues; and provide technical advice and advanced troubleshooting procedures within established guidelines and company responsibilities.
• Supports quality / ISO, security and safety training programs.
• Safeguards all assigned equipment issued by PULAU Corporation against loss, theft, and damage.
• Will be cross-trained to support other TADSS and may be assigned tasks to support other ATMP contract equipment on the installation, including ranges.

Electronic Technician Maintenance II Job Requirements

• Past experience as an Electronics Technician Maintenance or related position preferred.
• Prefer past work experience with repairing MSTC Manikins and military computer-based simulation devices or related equipment.
• High School diploma or equivalent, Electronics background preferred.
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft EXCEL program and able to create and update spreadsheets.
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and Post driving privileges.
• Must be able to read and understand manufacturers' manuals or technical documents.
• Must be able to work outside including in inclement weather. Must be able to acquire a Government Common Access Card (CAC) for access to other installations.
• Must be able to travel on temporary duty to other installations to perform maintenance.
• Must be able to work occasional shift, night, weekend, or holiday hours in support of military training.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
