RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Analyst in McLean, VA.

Duties Include:

• Payroll Analyst will process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment


• Verify timesheets, hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll data


• Calculate and process payroll adjustments such as overtime, leave, deductions, and withholdings


• Costpoint user administration; Manage user access and permissions related to payroll functions


• Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries in Costpoint


• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies


• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies


• Ensure all payroll transactions adhere to legal and company policies


• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records


• As a Payroll Analyst, you will perform regular reconciliations of payroll accounts


• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll transactions


• Perform benefit reconciliation and submit deductions to carriers


• Assist with payroll audits, providing necessary documentation and support

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• 3 years of experience using ADP Workforce Now for payroll administration, labor reconciliation, and journal entry


• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role with expertise in ADP Workforce Now


• Preferred knowledge of Costpoint user administration, timesheet processing, and journal entry


• Thorough knowledge of payroll processes, laws, regulations, and best practices


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities


• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity


• High level of accuracy and efficiency in processing payroll and managing data


• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
