SCADA Support Tech at Kforce Inc in Holyoke, Massachusetts

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a SCADA Support Tech in Holyoke, MA.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process any new SCADA/ICCP/PMU/RTU tickets


• Review open trouble tickets for resolution/escalation/closure


• Provision new PMU devices


• Utilize diagnostic tools to proactively detect data quality problems


• Execute and adhere to CIP compliance procedures, regulations and evidence gathering


• Review and update online and offline databases to resolve issues


• Support system and application-level patching and updates


• Perform RTU testing with external customers

Collaborate and assist internal and external customers in troubleshooting data problems related to:

• RTU's


• ICCP datalinks


• Network failures


• PMU/PDC datalinks

REQUIREMENTS:

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or Certification as an IT Technician, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional as an alternative


• Solid experience of working with diverse computer systems and networks


• Linux and Windows


• Knowledge of EMS/SCADA systems


• Knowledge or experience with WireShark or other TCP capture tools


• Project management skills, such as organization and goal setting


• Troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail


• Excellent customer service skills


• Experience with any of the following protocols is desired: DNP3; TASE.2/MMS (ICCP); C37.118, STTP; TCPIP/ICMP


• Any programming/scripting skills desirable such as PERL, VBA, SQL, Java, PowerShell, and/or Python

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
