We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Program Manager role. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated Program Manager to lead a portfolio of projects within a business unit. The Program Manager will be responsible for delivering the projects successfully to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. Will also be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of related projects.
What will you do in this role?
Lead planning and execution of new product development (NPD) projects from concept to production to customer acceptance.
Working with project sponsor, negotiating project scope, schedule, critical success factors and defining business case including Return on Investment (ROI)
Working with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to develop cross-functional project plans, resource plans and key deliverables
Develop and become an advocate of the customer within the organization. Assess end user / customer needs and time to market.
Develop working knowledge of customer’s workflow to ensure successful launch of products
Proactively develop risk mitigation plans and contingency plans
Responsible for achieving product quality goals, time-to-market objectives, and meeting product and project cost targets
Assign tasks, responsibilities, and accountability to team members to achieve project and product goals
Summarize financial business case including cash flow analysis, revenue roadmap, capital planning, resources required, and cost reduction roadmap to finalize project plan for NPD programs
Manage and ensure discipline with the NPD and Change Management processes, tools, metrics, and schedule to achieve committed business case
Drive continuous improvement of the NPD process
Lead cross-functional team during a critical customer issue
Plan the needed production capacity and ensure supplier capacity is also in place
Plan and lead cost reduction projects to achieve financial goals
Build and leverage effective alliances across technical, business, and operations communities
What does it take to be successful in this role?
B.S. Science or Engineering preferred.
PMP certification required.
Minimum 7 years industrial experience preferred with minimum 5 years project management experience leading enterprise-wide cross functional projects.
Knowledge of durable labels technology capabilities and direction preferred.
Knowledge of business case creation, financial plan analysis, resource planning.
Experience working with demanding customers and leading teams during critical customer issues.
Experience interfacing with customers to capture requirements, set appropriate expectations, and resolve any issues that might arise over the course of a program.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt to changing project conditions/direction
