ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

Simply Eloped is the leading elopement company in the world. Supported by our proprietary technology, we plan and perform thousands of ceremonies on an annual basis. We are located in 34 destinations around the US and are supported by a vendor network of over 800 vendors nationwide. We're passionate about elopements!

Our Personal Elopement Planners are the first voice of the company when couples reach out to Simply Eloped and will guide our couples through their booking and elopement process right up until they say "I do". The aim of this role is to ensure that the customer experience from beginning to end feels personalized, attentive, friendly and committed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Communicate clearly and articulately with customers in preparation for their wedding ceremony
  • Coordinate wedding ceremonies including assigning vendors, creating invoices & itineraries, applying for permits and more
  • Handle escalated emails, phone calls or live chat making sure the customer is heard, understood and the issue presented is resolved
  • Work towards KPIs around achieving a high customer happiness score for every couple!
  • Be an ambassador and representative of the Simply Eloped business and The Knot Worldwide


SUCCESSFUL PERSONAL ELOPEMENT PLANNER CANDIDATES HAVE:


  • Must have ability to work in remote environment and actively self-manage
  • Attention to detail paramount
  • Must be comfortable with learning new technologies
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent grammar
  • Accurately type and respond to a Customer on the phone at the same time
  • Comfortable handling difficult clients or situations, keeping calm.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Google Docs) and the ability to learn new systems quickly


IT'S A BONUS IF:


  • Experience in wedding or event planning preferred
  • You have prior customer service experience; preferably with an online retailer or in the ecommerce industry
  • You have worked in a cross-functional call center style environment
