Store Designer at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Framingham, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Our client is looking to add a Store Designer to their team. This is a 6+ month contract role with the potential to extend and would require you to go to their office in Greater Boston 2 times a week.



Job Summary:


This individual will coordinate various projects with new and existing business concepts as it relates to Store Design & Development. This would include "total store design" (décor finishes and layout), fixture design and development, new "department" concepts, graphics/signage design and implementation, as well as exterior storefront design. They will provide guidance and suggestions to resource, research, and spec new vendors as it relates to materials, trends, products and new technologies in the design field. This person will create and design various new project/concepts for the Brands, as well as new retail concepts. They're involved in many aspects of design as it relates to Store Development including selecting colors, materials, and finishes to appropriately convey the design concept. Partner with Store Design Manager on the selection and specification of fixtures and furniture. They will work with outside design firms to create new ideas and recommends decisions on design direction as well as create preliminary space plans and renderings for new store concepts.

Key Requirements for this role :

* Strong Interpersonal skills, presentation skills, ability to present to some levels of management.
* Knowledge of finishes/design materials
* Multi-task and time management skills
* Revit and/or AutoCAD, Enscape, perspective and rendering skills
* Photoshop/Illustrator/In Design
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Supporting the Senior Store Design Specialist and Store Design Manager with the following:
* Project Coordination
* Create, Design & Engineer
* Research & Resource

Education requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent work experience
Associate Degree accepted with experience
