We are seeking an experienced Principal Data Analyst to support the development of integrations, reporting standards, and data-driven strategies to optimize business performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, experience with Salesforce/CRM, and financial data, and will work in a collaborative, Agile environment to drive performance improvements and present insights to stakeholders.

Duties:


  • Analyze data from various sources, including a data lake and various enterprise applications (Salesforce/CRM, GL, AR subledgers), to support the development of integrations, reports, and the standardization of reporting templates, dashboards and guidelines to streamline workflows

  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders – including senior management – in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in written reports.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend data-driven strategies to optimize business performance.

  • Monitor and track key performance indicators to provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders.

  • Elicit business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into analytical solutions

  • Use SCRUM Agile methodology to document requirements - Epics, Themes, User Stories with acceptance criteria, and Personas; supplement with workflow diagrams, low fidelity wireframes

  • Work closely with developers, QA, and stakeholders to develop performance/stability requirements, traceability matrices

  • Understand the structure, policies and operations of a business area and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and IT to ensure high-quality communication and results

  • Support and adhere to ACR's Software Development Lifecycle, including preparation of relevant documentation for major and minor software releases

  • Work on one or more projects concurrently, with the frequent requirements changes associated with developing software on leading-edge technologies

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical/quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science. Master’s degree in these fields or MBA highly desirable.

  • 12+ years work experience as a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, with experience managing the requirements lifecycle in complex systems integration and data projects, as well as utilizing SQL for data extraction and reporting. Experience with Salesforce/CRM and financial data is highly desirable

    • 5+ years of SQL programming experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, views, materialized views and functions. Proficiency in query optimization techniques; inner joins, outer joins (left join, right join), and cross joins; Common Table Expressions and view creation.



  • Working experience with Salesforce objects.

  • Experience working with AWS Redshift, AWS Athena, and MS SQL Server is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of database design principles and normalization

  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques. Ability to apply statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data is highly desirable.

  • Skilled user of JIRA, Confluence, visualization/workflow diagramming tools, and MS Office required

  • Ability to work independently and as part of an Agile team in a fast-paced environment, across multiple projects at once, and in a remote-first setting.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and a solution-oriented mindset

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy that includes base salary in addition to our full suite of comprehensive benefits (https://www.acr.org/-/media/ACR/NOINDEX/HR/ACR-Benefits-Overview.pdf).  ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably.  It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on each case’s circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the annual compensation range for this position is $106,400 – $149,000.
