Job Title: Intern, Internal Audit

Department: Global Internal Audit Department

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Overview:

Insulet Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Audit intern to join our Internal Audit Department. This position offers the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in three key risk management functions: Operational Audits, Internal Controls (SOX), and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, relevant internship or co-op experience, and an interest in accounting, internal auditing, and risk management.

• This is a hybrid role with an expectation to work on-site (Acton, MA) in the office as needed.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Internal Controls (SOX): Support the assessment and testing of internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). Document findings and assist in the remediation of control deficiencies. The candidate will also have the opportunity to support testing related to IT general controls (ITGC).

• 
  Operational Audits: Assist in conducting operational audits to evaluate the design, efficiency, and effectiveness of business processes. Identify control gaps, areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to the business to enhance operational performance. Support the monitoring and remediation of identified issues.

• 
  Enterprise Risk Management (ERM): Participate in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of enterprise risks. Assist in documenting risk mitigation strategies and reporting on risk management activities.

• Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting / Finance or Systems/Technology


• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• High level of integrity and professionalism

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $22.00 - $28.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
