Shipping-Receiving-Inventory Specialist at Coherent Corp. in Bloomfield, Connecticut

Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Package product, produce documentation, and contact carriers to arrange pickup times for outgoing shipments.
• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders and invoices.
• Pull and deliver parts from inventory as needed to support daily production requirements.
• Perform and complete all assigned inventory cycle counts provided on a weekly basis.
• Maintain records of receiving documents, inventory transactions, and shipping documents.
• Perform tasks while following all safety guidelines mandated by the corporate EH&S team.

• 1 to 4 years of related experience.
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle or similar inventory databases and systems.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Previous forklift experience.

• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 lbs.
