The primary responsibility of this position is to provide leadership and support for the daily functions of the manufacturing bench workers. Responsible for ensuring adherence to all company policies and manufacturing procedures for the bench workers.
We are looking to fill this position for 1st shift, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, as well as for 2nd shift, Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
End finish operations
Read DPR / determine quantity required
Standard packaging label (spec #40001)
Complete DPR paperwork (spec#00005 & 00006)
Collection of products
Report processing difficulties to supervisor (or designate)
Various cut to length operations
Use of weigh count scales
Miscellaneous in-process product inspection
Testing of products
General housekeeping and sanitation
General maintenance activities
Other duties as assigned
Dimensional measurement of extruded tubing
Visual inspection of extruded tubing
Set Up/Schedule helpers on daily task and assignments
Lead Training efforts for all helpers – proficiency and compliance
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Legible handwriting
1+ years of on-the-job experience in medical device manufacturer or component manufacturer
Able to perform repetitive tasks for a minimum of 8 hours each workday
Hand dexterity is essential, as small parts need to be assembled
Good eye-hand coordination is required
Able to use, but not limited to, pin gauges, ruler, tape measure, and caliper
Worker should be able to meet known targets
Able to work independently or in a team
Able to maintain accurate records
Physical Demands
Continual lifting up to 50 lbs., gripping, turning, finger dexterity, and hand /eye coordination is required throughout the shift.
Long hours: 8 + hour shifts, mostly standing occasionally rotating into a sitting position.
Good vision required: Position requires good vision to inspect product for quality. Must be able to distinguish colors for some positions. Must be able to wear protective eyewear.

Manufacturing and clean room environments
Exposure to noise is present.
Safety equipment such as protective eyewear is required and provided by the company. Hearing Protection is optional and is provided as well.
