The Purchasing and Import Analyst monitors and evaluates Elite Spice's supply chain performance and uses data to improve processes. Acting as a liaison between the company and its suppliers, the Supply Chain Analyst may be responsible for researching fair prices, negotiating deals, and optimizing inventory levels.
Position Description:
Performs any combination of (but not limited to) the following duties:
Facilitates demand and material forecasting
Assisting in selecting and qualifying spice vendors
Negotiating terms and conditions with vendors
Maintaining purchasing records
Reporting costs for inventory and pricing purposes
Responsible for spice import logistics including contract follow up, shipment follow up and claims
Monitoring progress of shipments
Creating and maintaining cost and analysis spreadsheets for all spices and inventory
Maintaining good working relationships with vendors and brokers
Interacting with various departments including manufacturing, sales, quality control and technical services
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
Bachelors' degree required
Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative position. Purchasing , Imports , Supply Chain experience - an advantage.
