Position Summary:
The Donor Recruitment Manager is responsible for identifying, screening, and documenting participants for various clinical studies for Biospecimen Solutions. The primary focus will be for donors at our FDA Registered Blood Establishment in Mansfield, MA, which includes both the Donor Center (DC), as well as Apheresis Center (AC).
The Donor Recruitment Manager plays a critical role in enabling clinical research by building upon a database of willing and qualified study volunteers for traditional whole blood donations, as well as more elaborate collection procedures such as leukapheresis. Study volunteers will be both apparently healthy, as well as disease-state donors. Donors may be adults, as well as pediatrics. This is a Manager position with the potential for managing individuals collectively involved in overall subject recruitment across Biospecimen Solutions collectively.
This role is a full-time position on site at our location in Mansfield, MA, though remote work is possible on an agreed upon basis.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
Find clinical study volunteers to participate in various studies
Screen clinical study volunteers
Maintain a database of clinical study volunteers
Develop outreach efforts related to volunteer recruitment
Interact directly with customers and study volunteers via phone, email and in person
Interview prospective study subjects
Coordinate with all departments to ensure adequate subject recruitment has been met for each study
Spearhead efforts with various business stakeholders, including Clinical Operations, Marketing, Product Management and others, to expand donor participation by such means as local marketing efforts, excellent customer service to the participants, community outreach, etc.
Maintain and improve study documentation and volunteer records
Assist with sales, marketing, and outreach efforts as needed
Fosters teamwork. Works collaboratively with staff, peers, and management to achieve business goals. Communicates continuously and resolves conflicts proactively.
Interact with and provide detailed and accurate information to appropriate personnel
Subject Matter Expert for our electronic record systems for Donor Management with ability to train staff on the system(s)

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, or
High School and 5 years of related experience (i.e. clinical research assistant, CRC, phlebotomist oversight, management, or equivalent)

Maintains complete confidentiality of donor information and records
Strong computer (Microsoft Office suite)
Extended work hours may be necessary in order to meet business demands
