Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Medical Documentation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of provider documentation requirements for prescription processing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all provider chart notes are accurate and comply with relevant healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Review patient documentation & provider chart notes to identify insufficiencies, ensuring compliance with Medicare guidelines & other regulatory requirements.
Work closely with field force to clarify any discrepancies or ambiguities in documentation.
Utilize CRM software, such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM & Teams, to track and manage provider interactions and documentation.
Support the Customer Service team by providing insights and updates on compliance standards.
Participate in regular training and development sessions to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
Proven experience in managing and analyzing medical documentation.
Strong familiarity with CRM systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Familiarity with Medicare documentation requirements preferred.
