Job Description:

Location: REMOTE

Salary: $15.00 USD Hourly - $16.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist



This job will have the following responsibilities:

Processing incoming referrals, making outbound calls to providers to gather info, prepping referrals, doing Benefit investigations, answering phone calls.

Work together with corresponding coordinators to verify, check and review authorizations submitted by providers in and out of network.

Assist providers with updating and checking status of member authorizations through inbound calls; as well as review provider requests to contest Medical Director reviews.

Additionally, coordinators will be responsible for entering hard copies faxed by providers and determining changes to authorizations by in house staff via our inbox, reviewed daily.

Staff will need to be comfortable contacting providers, patients and staff members for authorization approvals, denials, and the like.
