Basic Job Functions:

Note: This is an in-office role, with the expectation of working 5 days per week in our Milford, MA office.




What You'll Do

Work with a variety of our internal Administrative, Contracts, Sales and other Branch personnel, along with Nucor Rebar Fabrication customers to invoice rebar supply and rebar placement contracts.

Your Responsibilities

• Review rebar and contract change order documents to ensure proper setup and billing requirements.
• Prepare monthly requisition-style invoices, payment applications and retention billings with supporting documents according to customer billing terms.
• Review the accuracy of all invoices prior to posting.
• Work with and collaborate with branch teammates to clear billing errors or disputes in a timely fashion.
• Perform monthly Sarbanes-Oxley compliance tasks and generate various ad hoc reporting; perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management.
• Provide back-up assistance for other Billing Administrators as necessary.




Minimum Qualifications:




• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Associate's degree in Business or Accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.




Preferred Qualifications:





What Will Put Your Application Ahead

• Prior AIA requisition billing preferred.
• Administrative experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, plus proven adaptability to learn new systems.
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies, spot potential problems and seek solutions.
• Highly motivated and self-directed.



What You Need to Know

• Must be able to adhere to demands of a fiscal calendar monthly close schedule.
• Overtime during peak periods required.
• Must be a self-starter willing to work closely with other departments to communicate and reason through contract issues and problems
