Medicare Advantage Product Lead Analyst - EGWP Products

The Medicare Advantage Product Lead Analyst will support product development strategies designed to maximize profitable growth and membership targets for Medicare group business, including group Medicare Advantage and group Medicare Part D plans.

They will create and utilize strong, proactive partnerships with areas such as Marketing, Network, Business Operations, Pharmacy, Sales Leaders, IT, Compliance, RAF, Stars, Actuary and vendor partners to ideate and implement critical benefit enhancements and strategic initiatives.

The Lead Analyst will:


  • Support product development strategies to drive membership and earnings growth for Group Medicare business

  • Update critical benefit artifacts and internal web resources efficiently with close attention to detail and quality - create new artifacts to further process improvements

  • Partner with Individual Medicare Advantage Product team to capitalize on product synergies, with detail to supplemental benefits helping to increase efficiencies and minimize risk while highlighting EGWP-specific features for innovation purposes

  • Review non-standard and exception benefits quoted in RFPs for compliance with CMS cost sharing requirements and internal system requirements.

  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings

  • Group mailbox administration (sort, assign, coordinate emails)

  • Documentation Creation/Updates (P&Ps, Can and Can Not do list, benefits, KnowledgeExchange, Training Materials, etc..)

  • Issue Resolution Support, including claims issues, materials, marketing and member communications

  • Manage Quote form updates including formulas, formatting, updating year over year benefit changes

A successful Lead Analyst will possess the following skills/experience:


  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage Parts C, D, or EGQP product offerings required

  • Experience with technical projects preferred - should be comfortable expressing business requirements to technical teams acting as a liaison for various downstream benefit data projects

  • Experience with KnowledgeXchange preferred

  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel experience requi

  • Excellent data management skills

  • Solid business acumen and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with contacts at all levels of the organization

  • Capable of reading highly technical government guidance and clearly translating relevant requirements into meaningful direction for our matrixed partners

  • Ability to work collaboratively with related teams
