Job Title: Expeditor

Job Summary:
Contact Suppliers to follow up on late or urgent Post

Essential Job Functions:
Research, expedite and close open purchase orders. Coordinate closely with other departments to provide updated information on inbound parts, including any expedite fees, on a continuous basis. Attend weekly production and pre-production meetings. Work with AP to resolve any issues with open Post. Process secondary POs. Assist with the quote process and other purchasing tasks as needed.

Education and Certifications:
HS Diploma plus 2 years or more of clerical, administrative, telephone and filing skills

Environment:
Manufacturing environment

Supervision:

As much or as little as requested by Manager

Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
• Effective inter-personal skills
• Individual must be able to work at the pace necessary to meet internal and external customer demands with minimal supervision.
• Basic Understanding of ISO 9001and AS9100 requirements and standards is desirable
• Requires strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all departments.
