This position is responsible for all business analytic, reporting, and administrative functions as needed in support of Transmission Planning team objectives.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field
Five years of experience in finance, accounting, project management, or related field.
Skills/Abilities:
Must have excellent analytical skills, top tier Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, and WORD)
Broad experience leveraging their analytical expertise in a wide variety of business situations.
Proficiency in SAP and project portfolio management systems (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to schedule, plan and manage numerous competing priorities concurrently
Ability to run meetings and interact with others at all levels of the organization
Foundational understanding of electric utility infrastructure is a plus
JOB SUMMARY:
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors, tracks, and takes necessary actions of ongoing transmission projects in support of business needs
Develops analytic dashboards and slide decks for a wide range of critical activities.
Leads efforts to ensure timely submission of regulatory, compliance, and regional filings (e.g. PUC, ISO-NE, NEPOOL, etc.)
Prepares the development of and routine tracking and reporting of generator and load interconnection projects.
Prepares and oversees budgets and contract administration including Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Frameworks, RFPs, etc. Oversees and ensures appropriate business accounting for all internal and external staff in collaboration with procurement, controls, etc.
Oversees all commercial billing and invoicing activities for Transmission Planning.
Assists during storm restoration as assigned.
