The College of Business Administration (COBA) at Texas A&M University-Central Texas (A&M-Central Texas) invites applications from educators committed to student-centered best practices to start in the fall of 2025 as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Business Strategy in the Management and Marketing Department. Applicants would need at least five years of experience as an Assistant Professor to be considered for the rank of Associate Professor. This is an exciting time to join our faculty. COBA just received AACSB accreditation in the spring of 2023. We have a new, visionary President, and the university announced its next strategic plan in August. Also, our new Provost should start in the spring of 2025, and the college is currently putting together a proposal for a DBA.
The faculty member will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in business strategy and other related areas as determined by department needs and individual qualifications. The teaching load will likely be three courses per term, depending on the number of different course preparations and qualifications. They will be delivered in various modalities, including face-to-face, entirely online, and/or multi-modal. The faculty member will be expected to perform the duties regularly expected of a faculty member, including, but not limited to, delivering their courses effectively, holding regular office hours per COBA policy, attending COBA and department meetings, and executing required administrative processes promptly. This faculty member will also be expected to serve on departmental, college, and university committees and maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status as described in COBAs Faculty Qualifications policy.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer. The department is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
