Job Description:

Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to join our team and play a vital role in the successful execution of a significant project through 2026. The PMO will collaborate closely with the Project Manager (PM) to assist in managing schedule, cost, quality, and documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to focus on schedule control, cost management, field quality assurance, and document oversight.
  • Implement and oversee the document management system for the project, specifically utilizing Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, and Excel to create reports, track progress, and analyze project data.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders remain informed and that action items are thoroughly documented.
  • Ensure all onsite activities align with the project plan by coordinating schedules, resources, and monitoring progress to deliver the project on time and within budget.
  • Identify and manage project risks, recognizing potential issues and developing strategies for mitigation based on site observations, such as safety concerns and material shortages.
  • Oversee document control processes to ensure all project documents are properly versioned, stored, and accessible.
  • Prepare and compile regular project reports and summaries for the management team to present to stakeholders.
  • Support construction activities by addressing field inquiries and providing quality control oversight during installation and startup, conducting regular inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between the construction site and management, enhancing collaboration.
  • Assist the Finance team in tracking and managing earned value in the field.
  • Conduct routine safety and quality audits in the field and relay findings to management.
  • Ensure timely responses to RFIs, submittals, and other site issues while keeping relevant stakeholders informed.

Education/Experience/Skills Required
  • Advocate for safety in all project areas.
  • 7 to 10 years of overall industry experience in project management.
  • A minimum of 5 years in fieldwork, operations, or construction management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) is advantageous.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Navisworks 3D viewing software preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills.
