Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee complex electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and manage financial resources to ensure project profitability.
Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, financial status, and any issues that may arise.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects successfully. Institutional experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field a plus.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
