Accounting Manager Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with all financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project accounting and financial management, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy in reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
Oversee project accounting, ensuring accurate tracking of project financial performance and cost control.
Prepare financial statements and reports, including expense management and payroll processing.
Ensure timely and accurate invoice generation, accounts receivable, and collections processes.
Conduct financial reconciliations and ensure compliance with tax regulations and payroll tax requirements.
Utilize Viewpoint Vista and Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to build relationships and provide financial insights.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of project accounting and construction accounting practices.
Proficiency in financial reporting, compliance, and expense management.
Experience with Viewpoint Vista and advanced Excel skills is required.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
